2025 Highlights

20 firefighters from the Bethel Fire Department with support from Hertford Ladder 31 trained on a live burn with a building adjacent to the fire department. Our members worked in unusually chilly 27 degree weather with winds around 10 miles per hour. 

When responding to a fire, the experience and skills learned during training can save lives. Departments use live-fire exercises to improve firefighting techniques.
